Bann Química Ltda., founded in 1954, initiated its activities in the area of importation and commercialization of several chemical products for the Brazilian industry. In 1959, Bann Química Ltda. began a small scale production of blowing agents, factices, and antioxidants for the rubber and tire industries. In 1963, a large industrial area was acquired in Sao Paulo where the production of a wide range of accelerators, antioxidants, and antiozonants were initiated.
Attentive to the necessities of its clients, such as competitive prices and a continuous and efficient provision of quality, Bann Química Ltda. inaugurated a new industrial site in Paulinia, S.P. to produce Aniline, an important raw material for the production of rubber chemical products. This site also manufactures other products such as Cyclohexylamine, Dicyclohexylamine, and O-Toludine.
In 1986, Bann Química Ltda. inaugurated the production of Indigo Blue dye at the Paulinia site. Indigo Blue dye is used by the textile industry to make blue denim, the material used for blue jeans. Bann Química Ltda. today is certified under ISO 9001/2000 by SGS ICS at both its chemical plants and is also certified under ISO 14001/2004 by SGS ICS at its Paulinia plant.
